Abstract:Momentum‐resolved electron energy loss spectroscopy (MREELS) probes the momentum (q) dependence (dispersion) of energy losses from characteristic excitations such as excitons, plasmon, and interband excitations thus probing bandstructures, indirect excitations, and dipole‐forbidden excitations.
