Abstract: The Mongolian micro‐continental fragments play an important geodynamic role in the Palaeozoic evolution of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. However, the original provenance of individual blocks within the Nuna/Columbia and Rodinia supercontinents is not well constrained.
