Brain health is defined as the development and maintenance of optimal brain integrity and neural network functionality for a given age. Maintaining good brain health is essential to minimize the occurrence of neurodegenerative diseases. One of the main causes of the appearance of these neurodegenerative diseases are lifestyle habits. Modifying a person's habits is a very complex and difficult task, and there are various behavioral theories and therapies that support changing habits. The use of coaching strategies, linked to motivational psychology, is crucial for the success of this type of intervention. The use of behavioral intervention technologies (BITs), new modes of intervention, provides novel monitoring data that experts can use to analyze user results, and thus improve decision-making and / or coordination of care.
