Monitoring of Antimicrobial Resistance and Genetic Analysis of Enterococcus spp. Isolated from Beef, Pork, Chicken and Fish in Korea

Abstract: -This study was performed to examine antimicrobial resistance of Enterococcus spp. strains from retail raw meat and fish products purchased in 2012. 43 Enterococcus spp. strains were isolated from a total of 207 samples (beef, pork, chicken, fish) with contamination rate of 20.8%.
