Monotone Discretization of Anisotropic Differential Operators Using Voronoi’s First Reduction

Abstract: We consider monotone discretization schemes, using adaptive finite differences on Cartesian grids, of partial differential operators depending on a strongly anisotropic symmetric positive definite matrix.
