We report the rediscovery of seven Eriocaulaceae taxa, which were known exclusively from the type collection or from historic collections. The taxa are Actinocephalus cipoensis, Actinocephalus coutoensis, Actinocephalus ithyphyllus, Paepalanthus argenteus var. elatus, Paepalanthus decussus, Paepalanthus stuetzelii, and Syngonanthus circinnatus, all narrowly distributed. They occur in the southern and central part of the Espinhaço Range in Minas Gerais, Brazil. We provide a brief taxonomic comment for each taxon, as well as details about the populations, habitat, and a revised IUCN conservation status. Finally, we discuss the earlier and present collecting efforts at the visited sites, as well as some conservational aspects.
