Mortality and outcomes after decompressive craniectomy in children with severe traumatic brain injury

Abstract: PurposeThe effect of decompressive craniectomy (DC) on mortality and outcomes in children with elevated intracranial pressure after severe head trauma is strongly debated and high-quality evidence is lacking.
