A cohort study of 1,911 Finnish sprayers showed less cancer deaths than expected (Riihimaeki et al, 1982); and no cases of STS (expected 0.1) or ML (expected 0.5) were observed (Riihimaeki et al, 1983). Among 348 men who sprayed along Swedish railway tracts an excess number of cancer deaths was observed, especially for stomach cancer .…”
