Mortality surrogates in combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema

Abstract: Background: Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) with co-existent emphysema, termed combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema (CPFE) may be associated with reduced FVC decline compared to non-CPFE IPF patients.
