Motilin kinetics and effects on proximal stomach in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) and healthy volunteers

Abstract: S inhibitory effect were not significantly different between hetEMs and homEMs, although there was a trend towards an increased AUC and acid-inhibitory effect in hetEMs. Therefore we compared the acid-inhibitory effect of LPZ and OPZ to baseline.Compared with baseline median 24 h pH and % of time pH > 4 at day 1 were significantly increased in hetEMs, but not in homEMs for both LPZ and OPZ.
