Motion of Particles in a Gas Stream in the Presence of Tangential and Axial Blowing

Abstract: Radial distributions of the velocity components of particles in a vertical vortex chamber in the presence of axial (bottom) blowing under conditions of quasi-solid rotation are considered, and the dependence of the particle rotation frequency on the Stokes number and the fraction of bottom blowing has been established.
