Thisstudyemployedself-determinationtheory(SDT)toassesspupils'motivation.Toputitsimply, autonomyisstudents'controloverthelesson.Relatednessisthesenseofbeingconnectedtoothers, whereascompetenceisthesenseofbeingcompetenttodothings.Theseelementsplaysignificant rolesinincreasingaperson'spsychologicalwellness.Intrinsicallymotivatedstudentsstudybetter duetotheirinherentcuriosityandinterest (Zimmerman,2000;DeciandRyan,2008;Tsengand Tsai,2010).Thus,itisimportantforteacherstodevelopwaystobooststudents'motivationwhen teachingwritingtoprimaryschoolstudentsastheyarestillyoungandtheyneedextrameasures fromtheteacher.Aconstructivistenvironmentlikeaflippedclassroomencouragesstudents'growth bysupportingautonomyandpromotingcompetenceandrelatedness.…”
