Movement disorders and tremors

Abstract: Movement disorders are common, and can be difficult to categorise correctly. In this article, we present the common movement disorders seen by GPs and provide an overview of their classification. Most movement disorders presenting in primary care will need referral to a neurologist for full diagnosis and management.
