Moxifloxacin superior to vancomycin for treatment of bone infections—a study in rats

Abstract: Interpretation In contrast to vancomycin, moxifloxacin proved to be an effective antibiotic for the treatment of bone infections due to Staphylococcus aureus in our animal model.
