Abstract: INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have demonstrated male circumcision (MC) to be protective for HIV infection. In 2016, WHO renewed its mission of 27 million circumcisions in sub-Saharan males aged 10-29 years old by 2021.
