“…It was found to be more accurate than diffusion metrics and spectroscopic parameters for classifying adult gliomas [12] . Few studies have evaluated contrast-enhanced DSC perfusion MRI for grading of pediatric brain tumors, and all of them have found rCBV to be a useful parameter for discriminating high-grade neoplasms from low grade ones [7,17,18] . Arterial spin labeling perfusion techniques have also been used to grade pediatric brain tumors [5] .…”

“…Primitive neuroectodermal tumors, atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumors, and glioblastomas may present with imaging characteristics similar to those of PXAs. 3,4 The purpose of this retrospective study was to seek MR imaging and diffusion MR imaging features that may be helpful in correctly diagnosing pediatric PXA preoperatively.…”

“…4,5 However, the GBM with restricted water diffusion, that is, hyperintense on trace images and hypointense on ADC maps, has also been reported. [8][9][10][11][12] Therefore, discrimination of lymphoma from some GBMs may be difficult.…”
