Multi-Conductor Transmission Line Model of Split-Winding Transformer for Frequency Response and Disk-to-Disk Fault Analysis

Abstract: For transformer designers, split-winding transformer modeling in different frequency ranges is of great importance. In this paper, for the first time, a multi-conductor transmission line model is proposed for high-frequency modeling of the split-winding transformer. In this model, all the turns in layers and disks have been considered and the model's parameters have been calculated using the finite element method. In order to validate the proposed model, the results are compared with the result of a model, whi… Show more

“…Since its inception, digital twin technology has been applied extensively to monito manage, and diagnose different lifecycles of complex physical components and systems For example, NASA and the U.S. Air Force leveraged digital twins in aircraft health man agement and maintenance [8,9]. Mondora and Grisso integrated digital twins in fatigu assessment of naval surface ships [10].…”

“…Given the increasing number of health and lifestyle management devices and service available today, such as activity trackers, diet monitors, and telemedicine services, th demand and expectations for higher quality of care are also rising. As a result, digita twins are being explored to assess the feasibility of creating dynamic models and simu lations of humans in order to improve medical diagnostics and prognostics, treatment and the overall wellbeing of patients [8,9,12]. In the following sections, we describe dig ital twin technology in detail with some recent use cases in personalised medicine an population health.…”

“…The coupled structures are widely used in microwave engineering [32][33]. As the fourth example, a coupled microstrip line using TLY062 substrate with relative permittivity of 2.2, the thickness of 1.56 mm, and loss tangent 0.009 is considered [34].…”
