Abstract

Over the last years significant progress has been made in obtaining high-time and spatial resolution of waves in space plasmas. The interesting class of the observed wave emissions is coherent wave structures in the form of wave packets. Examples are near monochromatic packets of right-hand circularly polarized waves (lion roars)
