“…Table 3 summarizes the available studies focused on the occurrence of AFB1 and its metabolite AFM1 in milk samples. The occurrence of AFB1 was reported in 1.2% (n = 80) [32], 1.4% (n = 290) [33], 12.4% (n = 250) [21], and 17.5% (n = 40) [9] of Egyptian, Mexican, Chinese, and Brazilian milk samples, respectively, in which were found concentrations of up to 3.54 µg/L.
