Abstract: Composite cylindrical shells play a crucial role in aerospace and marine structures. This study investigates the optimal structure for cylindrical multilayer composite shells under the effect of axial pressure using the finite element method and NSGA-II genetic algorithm to determine the maximum buckling load capacity.
