Multi-objective solid transportation-location problem with variable carbon emission in inventory management: a hybrid approach

Abstract: The most important strategic issue for several industries is where to find facilities so as to discover a transportation path for optimizing the objectives at the same time. This paper acquaints a streamlining model with incorporate the facility location problem, solid transportation problem, and inventory management under multi-objective environment. The aims of the stated formulation are multi-fold: (i) to seek the optimum locations for potential facilities in Euclidean plane; (ii) to find the amount of dist… Show more

“…In this situation, how the encroachment of the developer affects the competition among providers is an interesting research question. Finally, note that carbon emissions are a significant issue which has attracted attention by many countries, enterprises and consumers [16,15,17]; thus, we will investigate the power consumption of the software and the corresponding carbon-tax issues. In this case, it is worth to study how the existence of carbon tax impacts the developers' encroachment decision.…”

“…We can add other resilience and sustainable tools to the model until increasing the resiliency and sustainability of the model like backup facility and redundancy. Also, we suggest to apply multi-objective for environmental, energy, and occupational objective (Das et al 2021 ; Ghosh et al 2021 ; Mondal and Roy 2021 ; Pourghader Chobar et al 2021 ).…”

“…The SLR is carried out by (1) defining appropriate keywords for searching, (2) identifying relevant papers, and (3) analyzing the extracted papers. A large number of papers have worked on the topic of procurement and I4.0 technologies separately [16][17][18][19][20][21], however, 70 papers mainly concentrate on the contribution of both subjects simultaneously which are selected from Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. Selected papers are mainly from renowned publications such as Elsevier, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Emerald, etc.…”

“…A very well-crafted literature review article has the potential to serve as a platform for future research because such an article explicitly synthesizes current knowledge, identifies research gaps, and suggests exciting new directions for future research in a given field of research, regarding Methodology, Constructs/Variables, Theory, and Contexts. I4.0 technologies separately [16][17][18][19][20][21], however, 70 papers mainly concentrate on the contribution of both subjects simultaneously which are selected from Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science databases.
