Multi-Objective Synthesis Based on Extended State Observer and LMI Optimization for Excitation System of Synchronous Generator

Abstract: This paper presents a method to design excitation controller. The main results rely on extended state observer (ESO) and linear matrix inequalities (LMI) optimization which can handle various closed-loop specifications, such as a given set of admissible initial states, asymptotic stability of the saturating closed-loop system, and D-stability, on different channels.
