Abstract: Maintenance of water homeostasis is a fundamental cellular process required by all living organisms. Here, we use the single-celled green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii to establish a foundational understanding of osmotic-stress signaling pathways through transcriptomics, phosphoproteomics, and functional genomics approaches.
