Multi‐probe remote differential optical low‐coherence reflectometer

Abstract: I propose and evaluate a multi‐probe optical low‐coherence reflectometer that simultaneously measures, with sub‐micron resolution, relative axial distances sampled on a reflexive surface. The technique is assessed as suitable for in‐field high‐resolution remote contactless evaluation of surfaces by simultaneously measuring four points in a target 22‐km apart from the reflectometer. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
