Based on the temperature characteristics of the air, ice and water in the vertical direction of the river ice cover, an automatic temperature measuring instrument for ice cover profile was designed. The sensor used NTC thermistor as a temperature detection unit. In order to improve the actual detection accuracy of the sensor units in a wide temperature range [223.15 K (−50 • C), 293.15 K (20 • C)], a calibrating method of the thermistor using the resistance residual compensation method was proposed and compared with the existing seven calibration methods. The results show that the accuracy of the calibrated temperature sensor units can reach 0.1 K in the testing range, which can satisfy the accuracy requirements in thermodynamics research of ice cover profile. We further designed a temperature measuring instrument and carried out a deployment of the instrument and in-situ observation of data in cold region of the upstream of Heilongjiang River in late December 2017. The evolution process of ice thickness was analysed and discussed by the collected data. It can be proved that this instrument is an effective scheme for intelligent detection of river ice environment in cold regions. Snow and ice were monitored by thermistor-string-based Snow and Ice Mass Balance Array (SIMBA) in Lake Orajärvi in northern Finland. An existing automatic SIMBA-algorithm was further developed to derive air/snow, snow/ice and ice/water interfaces based on the SIMBA environment temperature (ET) profiles. The identified interfaces agreed with in situ observations made in 2011/12 winter season. The method was capable to identify upward-moving snow/ice interface that was also visible from SIMBA heating temperature (HT) profiles, which responds to differences in the thermal diffusivities of air, snow, ice and water. The SIMBA data obtained in winters 2017/18 and 2018/19 were used to investigate snow and ice mass balance. An upward-moving snow/ice interface was detected as a result of meteoric ice (snow ice and superimposed ice) formation. Snow contributed to granular lake ice formation up to 40–55% of the total ice thickness on the seasonal mean. Heavy snowfalls and low air temperature in early winter are favourable for granular ice formation. The seasonal mean snow depth on nearby land was 2.7–2.9 times of that on the lake. The estimation of freeboard from snow and ice mass-balance measurement is sensitive to the snow density. Accurate ice freeboard calculation is still a challenge.

The abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is complex and usually leads to severe anemia. Melastomadodecandrum (MD) is clinically used for the treatment of metrorrhagia bleeding. The MD ellagitannins (MD‐ETs) had been evidenced being effective at hemorrhage, and exerts biological activities upon their metabolites including ellagic acid and urolithins. In this study, the blood‐permeated metabolites from theMD‐ETs were analyzed using LC‐MS approach, and 19 metabolites including ellagic acid and urolithin A derivatives were identified. Furthermore, a network pharmacology analysis including the target prediction analysis, AUB target analysis, Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis were conducted to reveal the relationships between “metabolites‐targets‐pathways”, which was further verified by molecular docking analysis. The results showed that methyl ellagic acid, urolithin A and isourolithin A produced from MD‐ETs can be absorbed into the blood, and might act on the core targets of VEGFA, SRC, MTOR, EGFR and CCND1. And the hemostatic effects were exerted through PI3K‐Akt, endocrine resistance and Rap 1 signaling pathways. These results implied the potential effective constituents and action mechanism of MD‐ETs in the therapy of AUB, which will promote the application of MD‐ETs as natural agent for the treatment of gynecological bleeding diseases.
