Abstract:This article proposes a flexible ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna for wearable electronics and biomedical applications. The antenna presented for this work is fabricated on a Kapton polyimide (PI) substrate, and the operating frequency ranges from 2.4 GHz to 7.1 GHz. The footprint of the proposed antenna is 35 × 45 mm with an elliptical radiating element fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW), which achieves improved impedance matching characteristics. The choice of substrate, design constraints, fabrication pr… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
