Multidimensional Regularity Processing in Music: An Examination Using Redundant Signals Effect

Abstract: Regularities in music are the basis of predictive music listening. Dynamic expectations are based on short-term representations of acoustic regularities specific to the current musical context, whereas schematic expectations are based on knowledge of tonal regularities.
