Multidisciplinary care of patients with Parkinson's disease

Abstract: P eople with Parkinson's disease often have a wide variety of physical symptoms and psycho social problems. Evidence is accruing for the effectiveness of multidisciplinary care. Here, we discuss this evidence and describe one model of multidisciplinary care, emphasising the importance of regular face-toface team meetings.
