Multifunctional power quality controller based on power electronic converter

Abstract: The paper presents the multifunctional controller based on ac-dc power electronic converter. The controller is intended for nonactive power compensation in three-phase systems, and performs functions of reactive power control, active filtering and load balancing. It enables to improve the power quality in distribution power system.
