Very interesting examples of this kind are The Battle of Thermopylae (Christopoulos et al, 2011;Laamarti et al, 2014) aiming to deliver the historical context and importance of the battle, the warfare of the opponents, their cultural differences and the strategic choices, and The Siege of Syracuse (Christopoulos et al, 2009) recreating the battlefield of the siege by the romans in 212 BC. Others are The ancient Olympia (Gaitatzes et al, 2004;Syufagi et al, 2013); the Priory Herbert Undercroft, are construction of the Benedictine monastery in Coventry, dissolved by Henry VIII (Doulamis et al, 2011); Revolution (Francis, 2006), a role-playing game in the town of colonial Williamsburg during the American Revolution; The Playing History game series; George Washington's treasures and Rome in Danger.…”
