Abstract:Surgery is an option for patients with drug-resistant epilepsy, but it requires a comprehensive assessment.Electroencephalography (EEG), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and functional MRI (fMRI) are used to localize the epileptogenic zone, which directly affects the surgery outcome.
