Multiple aneurysms with different kinds of external carotid artery associated with multiple aneurysms of internal carotid artery

Abstract

Chen, et al.: Multiple aneurysms of external and internal carotid arteries flow of right ICA and no recurrence of aneurysms except for little opacification of lingual artery aneurysm [Figure 4]. This patient didn't have neurological deficit during follow-up period of 23 months.ECA aneurysm was often caused by neck trauma or operation. However, multiple ECA aneurysms of different kinds, in the absence of these factors, are rather rare. [1,2] To the best of our knowledge, this type of case, simultaneous occurrence of multilple ICA aneurysms, [3,4] has not previously been reported.
