Multiple forward scattering reduces the measured scattering coefficient of blood in visible-light optical coherence tomography

Abstract: Optical properties of blood encode oxygen-dependent information. Noninvasive optical detection of these properties is increasingly desirable to extract biomarkers for tissue health.
