Multiplex PCR for Detection of Exfoliative Toxins, and Toxic Shock Syndrome Toxin 1 Genes in MRSA Strains of Clinical Staphylococcus aureus Isolates

Abstract: This research approaches to investigate toxin gene content of the methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus strains that are clinically collected from human skin infection cases by performing multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique (irrespective of whether the strain produces the toxin or not) and for that a single PCR reaction was employed, two pairs of exfoliative toxin and one pair toxic shock syndrome toxin-1.
