Abstract: Endoscopy and tissue biopsy are the gold standard methodology of diagnosing esophageal adenocarcinoma (OAC) and its premalignant condition, Barrett's esophagus (BO). This procedure is invasive and unsuitable for population screening, leading to late diagnosis and poor prognosis of most OAC.
