Abstract:This paper examines the Multistakeholder initiative (MSI) “German Initiative on Sustainable Cocoa (GISCO)”. MSIs represent arenas in which heterogeneous actors from governments, businesses and civil society come together to achieve sustainability goals that they cannot achieve otherwise.
