Multiuser Computing Offload Algorithm Based on Mobile Edge Computing in the Internet of Things Environment

Abstract: As traditional cloud computing is not efficient enough to support large-scale computational task execution in IoT  environments, a task offloading and resource allocation algorithm for mobile edge computing (MEC) is proposed in this paper. First, a multiuser computation offloading model is constructed, including a communication model and computation offloading model, which is transformed into the minimization of users’ time delay and energy consumption (i.e., total system overhead) in the MEC system. Then, the… Show more

“…An energyefficient resource allocation scheme is proposed based on the edge calculation part to calculate the diversion. Considering the application with limited resources, the energysaving part of wireless resources and computing resources is jointly optimized to calculate the shunting method, through wireless energy transmission [11]. Wang et al proposed a joint optimization scheme of the edge computing system based on full-duplex relay wireless power supply and proposed a joint optimization method of energy consumption and delay based on fog computing [12].…”

“…Among them, the formal model emphasizes that colleges and universities are hierarchical systems, which should reasonably re ect the authority of managers in the organization; the college model is based on democratic principles and forms the common values of the organization through the professional authority of teachers; the political model focuses on the group activities in the organization and emphasizes the unity of individuals, groups, and organizations; Chu and others said that the subjective model emphasizes the belief and understanding of individual members in the organization and pays more attention to the realization of individual goals; the fuzzy model mainly aims at the complex and unstable situation in the organization so as to deepen the individual's understanding of the organization; the cultural model emphasizes that the individual's way of thinking and behavior and belief and value system are the core of organizational culture. e interaction between individuals or groups can promote the formation of organizational norms [9]. Turner and others said that the above six theoretical models comprehensively re ect the in-depth exploration of relevant theories by foreign scholars on the basis of criticism and development and provide a new research paradigm for exploring the management model of ideological and moral education in colleges and universities [10].…”

“…Xiao Chu et al, 14 have presented a multiuser computation offloading mode for resource allocation in MEC. To reduce users' delay time and energy consumption (i.e., total system overhead) in the MEC system, a multiple‐user computation offloading model, which comprises a communication model and computation offloading model, was first built.…”
