Abstract:To explore system sensitivities in hyperspectral subpixel target detection, multivariate methods are applied to output detection metrics generated from a statistical target detection model. The Forecasting and Analysis of Spectroradiometric System Performance (FASSP) statistical model generates probabilities of detection (P D ) and false alarm (P F A ) using spectral libraries of target and background materials. This allows for the computation of the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC)… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
