Multiwavelength study of 230 IRAS FSC galaxies

Abstract: A sample of 230 galaxies has been compiled based on their IRAS FSC fluxes to study their multiwavelength properties and carry out comparative analyses with other similar samples. To understand the nature of these galaxies, a comparison with a sample of bright ULIRGs having fluxes at 60 m μ 1 > ν f Jy and 14 optically faint IRAS FSC galaxies is presented.
