Abstract: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a devastating neurodegenerative disorder affecting motor neurons. The complex etiopathogenetic mechanism of ALS can lead to extensive alterations, including cortical changes, neuroinflammation, and changes in muscular structure.
