Abstract:The intramembrane proteolytic activities of presenilins (PSEN1/PS1 and PSEN2/ PS2) underlie production of β-amyloid, the key process in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Dysregulation of presenilin-mediated signaling is linked to cancers.
