Abstract: Introduction. The treatment for patients with high-grade gliomas includes surgical resection of tumor, radiotherapy, and temozolomide chemotherapy. However, some patients do not respond to temozolomide due to a methylation reversal mechanism by the enzyme O6-methylguanine-DNA-methyltransferase (MGMT).
