Abstract: Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB). It affects mainly the lungs, but it may also occur in extrapulmonary sites. TB is a world challenge due to its high burden and the emergency of drugresistant MTB.
