“…While studies on orchid mycorrhizae have been conducted for decades (Dorr & Kollmann, 1969;Narayanaswami, 1950;Rasmussen, 2002;Taylor & Bruns, 1997), many fungal species isolated from roots of various species remain poorly recognized (Bayman et al, 1997;Chen et al, 2011;Favre-Godal et al, 2020).
