Myocardial infarction with a preserved ejection fraction—the impaired function of the cardio-renal baroreflex

Abstract: Introduction: In experimental myocardial infarction with reduced ejection fraction causing overt congestive heart failure, the control of renal sympathetic nerve activity (RSNA) by the cardio-renal baroreflex was impaired.
