Abstract:Myoepithelial carcinoma represents only 0.1-0.45% of salivary gland tumors, the palate being the most common location. We present a case of myoepithelial carcinoma of the minor salivary glands in the maxilla; this entity is so rare that only six cases have been reported in the literature -a 64-year-old female with progressive pain and swelling of the maxilla.
