“…A similar tumor, designated as myoepithelioma-like tumor of the vulvar region has been reported by Yoshida et al 12 , in a series of 9 cases. Although most of the histopathological features and immunohistochemical features of the present tumor were overlapping, diffuse immunostaining for AE1/AE3, as noted in the present case, was not observed in any of the cases reported by Yoshida et al 12 and neither in subsequently, other such documented cases 13 , 24 . Another case of myoepithelioma-like tumor in the vulvar region was reported with ERG and Fli1 immunoexpression 13 .…”

Only a very small number of cases have been subsequently reported 169,170 . Similar tumors have not been reported in men or in non‐vulvar locations, to the best of our knowledge.…”

“…MELTVR is mainly treated with complete surgical resection without postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The overall clinical prognosis is good 14 . No metastasis has been found in reported cases, and some scholars have reported postoperative recurrence cases, which may be related to unclean surgical resection.…”
