Myxopapillary ependymomas; proximity to the conus and its effect on presentation and outcomes

Abstract: Background: Myxopapillary ependymomas (MPE) are intradural spinal tumors with a predilection to the filum terminale. Damage to conus medullaris during surgery can result in sphincteric and sexual dysfunction.
