N2O Emissions from Aquatic Ecosystems: A Review

Abstract: Emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O) from aquatic ecosystems are on the rise due to the dramatic increase in global reactive nitrogen input by anthropogenic activities (e.g., agricultural nitrogen fertilizer use).
