“…The mixture was maintained with vigorous magnetic stirring at~1,000 rpm for 4 h. Then, the material was filtered and dried for 24 h at 60 C in a vacuum oven. [19][20][21][22][23][24][25] polycondensation in solution using polyphosphoric acid (PPA) as solvent, following the method reported by Bhavsar et. al 7 as described below: in a three-necked flask equipped with mechanical stirrer and N 2 atmosphere, was added the PPA (60 g) and heated to 120 C. Subsequently, 0.0093 mol (1.99 g) of 3,3 0 -diaminobenzidine (DAB) was added to the flask containing the PPA, and the solution was mixed with vigorous stirring for a period of 5 h.
